18th GA&A + 30 Pull-Ups

I am truly blessed to have the Robert Roskind's Oasis Cafe in my life and in my neighborhood because it truly is "The Place Where All Paths Meet" due to the incredible energy and experience that Robert has infused it with.

Notes on "Surfing Synchronicity"

Surfing is a surface water sport in which the wave rider, referred to as a surfer, rides on the forward or deep face of a moving wave, which is usually carrying the surfer towards the shore.

Synchronicity is the experience of two or more events as meaningfully related, where they are unlikely to be causally related. The subject sees it as a meaningful coincidence, although the events need not be exactly simultaneous in time. The concept of synchronicity was first described by Carl Gustav Jung, a Swiss psychologist, in the 1920s.

Surfing Synchronicity is the experience of psychologically gaining momentum from multiple positive synchronistic events or associations.

Example: Gaines Steer called me asking to join the Haw River Sun-Men while I was talking to Robert Roskind about promoting The ManKind Project at The Oasis Cafe. I later realized that Gaines had made the scepter used in our Kings Round over a year ago at The Last Unicorn. He fashioned it from a cast iron fence post. First a synchronous event and then an association. This directly motivated me and gave me energy to continure my efforts with Sunday evening talks at The Oasis Cafe.
