Eckhart Tolle On Individuality & Reincarnation
Each of us is an aspect of the dream of the universe. This notion can be experienced directly several time a day by observing our consciousness. At times we are completely taken into an idea and are defined by it. At other times we return to our self-conscious selves. This is analogous or even possibly a small direct part of reincarnation.
Reincarnation was part of Christian Teachings until the Emperor Justinian I, had church father Origen's (185-253) teachings banned by a synod in 553 AD. Most Jews believe in reincarnation and all Kabbalists do, along with followers of the Cathars, the Druze, Knights Templar, Freemasons and the Rosicrucians.
