Journal for Thursday

Dream Journal: I Dreamed that I was in college and not doing well. The teachers were examining my work. A fellow student asked for my notes and they were a mess. I had no clue. I then perked up and started massive amounts of studying and extracurricular activities. I programmed  zip cars to go and get pizza and later prostitutes for blow jobs while studying. I was apparently a genius.

When I woke up (literally and figuratively) I threw out 2 hard ciders in the rifge and wrote a note to check on Alex's HPV vaccine status. Also motivated to clean and organize the den for active project control.

Journal for Sunday, Bass Primmer

Got all the positive juice....need positive actions to follow. Manifest The Magna Odyssey.

Magna Carta: "No free man shall be seized of imprisoned or stripped of his rights, or outlawed or exiled, except by the judgement of his equals or by the law of the land.

Dubstep:

deep, reverberating bass (aka 'wobble')

samples of vocals that can be repeated (ie: haunting)makes you want to melt into the ground beneath your feetprogressive, some may say repetitive, but in a relative way that trance is progressive and emotionaldeepdirtygrungydarksexyslightly reminiscent of dub/reggae
there is good dubstep and there is bad dubstep like any other genre of music. you just gotta listen to more and more and more and more to figure out where that fine line is for you.

Sub-bass sounds are those approximately below 60 Hz and extending downward to include the lowest frequency humans can hear, typically 20 Hz. In this range, human hearing is not very sensitive, so sounds in this range tend to be felt more than heard.[1] Sound systems often feature one or more subwoofer loudspeakers that are dedicated solely to amplifying sounds in the sub-bass range. Sounds below sub-bass are called infrasound.

Drum and Bass (Also written as drum 'n' bass or drum & bass and commonly abbreviated to D&B, DnB or D'n'B) is a genre of electronic music also known as Jungle which emerged in England in the early 1990s. The genre is characterized by fast breakbeats (typically between 150–180 beats per minute) with heavy bass and sub-bass lines. The "bass line" is usually created with sampled sources or synthesizers.

Subwoofer A subwoofer (or sub) is a woofer, or a complete loudspeaker, which is dedicated to the reproduction of low-pitched audio frequencies known as bass. The typical frequency range for a subwoofer is about 20–200 Hz for consumer products,[1] below 100 Hz for professional live sound,[2] and below 80 Hz in THX-approved systems.[3] Subwoofers are intended to augment the low frequency range of loudspeakers covering higher frequency bands.

Subwoofers are made up of one or more woofers mounted in a loudspeaker enclosure—often made of wood—capable of withstanding air pressure while resisting deformation. Subwoofer enclosures come in a variety of designs, including bass reflex (with a port or passive radiator in the enclosure), infinite baffle, horn-loaded, and bandpass designs, representing unique tradeoffs with respect to efficiency, bandwidth, size and cost. Passive subwoofers have a subwoofer driver and enclosure and they are powered by an external amplifier. Active subwoofers include a built-in amplifier

Trap music is a music genre that originated in the early 1990s in the Southern United States. It is typified by its aggressive lyrical content and sound, where the instrumentals are propelled by 808 kick drums or heavy extended sub-bass lines, double-time, triple-time and other faster time division hi-hats, layered synthesizers, and "cinematic" strings

Journal for Saturday

Big day Friday. Asked what I wanted for 801 Driver. Will have funds for real estate investments, but need to be more strategic, better manged than the original

Random Thought: Have a black partner, make money flow into the neighborhoods we are developing.  Hire almost anyone who wants a job. If they can't do the work, they lose the job, but can apply for another, or the same one if their circumstances have changed, i.e., they changed their minds in a fundamental way.  Like, me on Friday (Yesterday). I will officially call it a peak experience day.

Resolved a conflict in my personal life
Made a bold proposal in my business life.
Had a separate proposal shut down in my business life
Didn't like but, but quickly recovered. Be Happy, who wants to be around people who are not happy?

Call Omar and remind him that time is money.

Random Thoughts

To support a healthy body-mind-soul I need to be more in body and less in my head.
You need to balance mental exercise like physical exercise. You need to have periods of recovery (relaxation) to balance periods of high performance. They need to balance one another...either extreme is not support optimal health.

Some minds excel at detail. Some minds see only the big picture. The ones who can do both, we call them geniuses.

Mainstream media is on the side of the international bankers over the sovereign government of a democratic country.  Is this profound or no duh?

Action Required: Start a Random Thoughts Blog. Interesting, compelling questions. No pedagogic solutions, just open discussion. When I get 100 organized random thoughts, I can start to publish them in the blog.

Don't be rude....ever.

Random Thought: If you are not very sad sometimes, you are not paying attention, or you have achieved enlightenment (at least, gotten close)

I have a goal to experience more episodes of A Maximum Effort, Executed Perfectly. This is when a major goal is achieved or an effort that was close to top capacity (physically, mentally, spiritually) or very high performance was performed in a way that had maximum desired effect with minimum effort. (Like the Chinese cook of an emperor who cut the meat effortlessly (in the space between the joints). This should be called "Chef Surgery"

Mindfulness, radicalcourse

"Mindfulness is a translation of a word that simply means awareness. It's a direct, intuitive knowing of what you are doing while you are doing it. It's knowing what's going on inside your mind and body, and what's going on in the outside world as well.

Most of the time our attention is not where we intended it to be. Our attention is hijacked by our thoughts and emotions, by our concerns, by our worries for the future, and our regrets and memories of the past. Mindful awareness is about learning to pay attention, in the present moment, and without judgement. It's like training a muscle - training attention to be where you want it to be. This reduces our tendency to work on autopilot, allowing us to us choose how we respond & react."

Interest in mindfulness has been growing steadily in recent years. There are now thousands of research studies into the uses of mindfulness, and professionals are using mindfulness in Boardrooms, Schools, Prisons, Court rooms and hospitals across the world. Mindfulnet.org is an independent mindfulness website that aims to provide "everything you need to know about mindfulness in one place".

When Mindfulness Risks Becoming Mindlessness

“Thanks for creating this symbol. Its just what i needed :) –Ben”

Hello!I recently got this tattoo and wanted to share it with y'all.  I used the mindfulness symbol and had my artist play around with it a bit.  I also wanted to incorporate a woman as the drop of water which was inspired by this poem by Noel Frederick McInnis-“Be as water in, without friction.  Flow around the edges of those within your path.  Surround within your ever-moving depths those who come to rest there- enfold them, while never for a moment holding on.  Accept whatever distance others are moved within your flow. Be with them gently as far as they allow your strength to take them, and fill with your own being the remaining space when they are left behind.  When dropping down life’s rapids, froth and bubble into fragments if you must, knowing that the one of you now many will just as many times be one again.  And when you’ve gone as far as you can go, quietly await your next beginning.”Thanks for your time! It would be so awesome to have this work featured on your website! :)Katie Kerekes

The blueprint:

1. All problems have their roots in human mind.
2. The solution to the problems of humanity lies in the universal truths.
3. At radicalcourse we create visual symbols for these truths and spread (see how) them.
4. Our symbols inspire people to design their lives according to these universal truths.
5. By designing their individual lives, people design a good society.

Taming Angry Emotional Outbreaks

What to do: The six-second technique takes longer to describe than to do, but it’s very simple. The steps…

• First, choose an external cue, something that happens around 10 times a day—for example, turning on a faucet or checking your e-mail. Every time that cue occurs, use it as a reminder to do the exercise.

• Silently say to yourself, “My mind is alert, my body is calm,” and inhale through your nose for a slow, easy count of three. Imagine your breath coming up from the bottoms of your feet and traveling through your legs, abdomen, chest, arms and shoulders…and invite a pleasant feeling of warmth to flow through your body.

• Then exhale for a relaxed count of three (or even four), letting your face, jaw and neck go loose. Allow that warm feeling to flow downward…imagine it carrying away any tension from your head, trunk and limbs and sending it out the bottoms of your feet. When you’re done, gently resume your normal activity.

What to expect: With a regular practice of mindfulness, in a few weeks, you’re likely to notice a reduction in angry fireworks…and a growing sense of emotional resilience, balance and calm.

Reality Check

When you start getting upset about something, take a moment to think about the situation. Ask yourself:
How important is it in the grand scheme of things?
Is it really worth getting angry about it?
Is it worth ruining the rest of my day?
Is my response appropriate to the situation?
Is there anything I can do about it?
Is taking action worth my time?

Use Empathy

See the Humor in Your Anger

Listen Effectively

Live Each Day as if it's Your Last

Studies show that both approaches — noisily expressing your anger or soundlessly burying it — are equally harmful. Home Grown: Acknowledge, Accept, Chill, Analyze, Act. Congratulate yourself

Questioner: How can one control it?

Dadashri: The control is present. Recognize that the person who throws the stone at you is merely your nimit (someone instrumental) who is bringing to you, the effects of your past karma. When you see a stone falling from a hill, your anger does not arise. In the same manner, here too you should exercise control, because everything is just like the hill. If a car is coming head-on at you, will you get angry or will you move out of the way? Would you crash with the car? You are aware of the consequences. But when you get angry, the internal destruction is much greater. The external destruction is obvious to you, but you are not aware of the internal destruction. This is the only difference.

If you let go a little, you will have a little happiness.
If you let go a lot, you will have a lot of happiness.
If you let go completely, you will be completely happy.
